For those of you planning to attend to The Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association's Harvest Jam the weekend of November 20-22nd in the Twin

fiddle, Mark Kreitzer on mandolin and guitar, Mike Valentiner on guitar, Pete from Cousin Dad on bass and me. And maybe some other folks. Hope you can make it
to the weekend and maybe even our set! If you're wondering what style of music we'l be doing, our band motto is: "A Fresh Take on Celtic Acid
Swing." Chris, Gabe, Mike, Dan, David, et. al. -- hope to see you there!

We're there, for sure!
We're gonna try our hand at the open mic thing at Kip's (the bar attached to the hotel). We're on at 4:30 on Saturday. TresMoto is us. I'll definitely get there to see you, Jon! The rest of the time, Gabe, we'll most likely be in the jam rooms making fools of ourselves. - Chris 2006 000-18GE | 2001 000-15S | 2008 CEO-4R | 2006 Felix II | Collings MT Mandolin |

Hey Jon, great to hear you'll be there. Hope to see you, and will definitely check out the band Saturday. My family and my cousins who also play bluegrass
have a couple of hotel rooms Friday night. Would be fun to pick a couple tunes with you, Gabe and Chris, and any other UMGF members there.

Heading there with my jam buddies, Bob (Capoed Crusader on the UMGF) and Ron (our bass player)... we'll head in friday evening. We'll be looking for
some good jams, and then I want to catch a little bit of Pert Near Sandstone in the ballroom Friday night at 10.
I better get to bed early tonight to store up ZZZZZ's for the weekend. - Chris 2006 000-18GE | 2001 000-15S | 2008 CEO-4R | 2006 Felix II | Collings MT Mandolin |

Kicked out? What the H do you mean? That just ain't right.
Too bad you couldn't stick around later. We had a great jam going in the alcove of the lobby Saturday night, from about 7pm to 12:30am... We did everything from Little Feat and Simon and Garfunkel to the Dead and the Stones to country and traditional BG. (I have the 300MB mp3 file of it!) Great fun. Had a bunch of folks from the 331 jam join in, including Kurt, the fiddle player. Our open mic was fun. First time doing that with a microphone, so we have no idea what the folks heard out there, but we had a great time. On Friday, we played a bit with D15dan and his pals; and Jon Garon joined us for a while. Fun playing with all of you! Yeah, Jon, how'd the contest go? I totally forgot to ask how you did! - Chris 2006 000-18GE | 2001 000-15S | 2008 CEO-4R | 2006 Felix II | Collings MT Mandolin |
