Before we left Nazareth Rod and I stopped at two places; The old factory on North Street and The Moravian Cemetery. We dropped by the cemetery to visit the grave of C.F. Martin. It was great fun searching for his grave while the sky turned very dark and thunder and lighting was crashing around us. Funny thing is neither of us own a Gibson. Be that as it may we paid our respects to a man who changed the world.
While at the old factory we spent some time with the wonderful ladies who run Wood Workers Connection. These gals are great and really love what they do. While chatting with the ladies I noticed a few set of bridge pins on the counter with turquoise dots. I was told they were left over from the Buddy Guy guitars that Martin built last year. I could not resist and purchased two sets. One for me and the other for another forum member with a proclivity for blue guitars.
