Just got back from camping outside of Cooperstowne N.Y. for 4 days. Lost a lot of sleep! Gained a lot of bruises. Oh yea, weight is the same.

I lost 1 1/2 lbs. of the 4 I gained week before last,
so I guess my total is about 38 1/2 lbs. I have a

Well, I made it to Monday morning without giving back my week's progress. I'm done I think... Is Nazfest here yet?

-3 pounds for the week (it was a very busy and stressful week), -57 total. 204 to start the year, 147 now.

Thank you all for you inspiration, I'd never have had a chance without you.

As I posted on my Facebook page last night: "I celebrated the loss of nearly 60 pounds since the year began by having my first ice cream in 7 months at Herrell's in Harvard Square. I used to eat Steve Herrell's ice cream in 1973, the very first year he started making it."

Free diet tip... drink Pellegrino water with dinner instead of still water-- it fills you up more (tastes great too).

No change this morning, but at the end of this great adventure I'm 12 pounds lighter than I was on January 1st (I lost 4 before the challenge officially began, thinking the start date was New Year's Day). The most important thing for me is that I've learned a better way of eating, and I want to continue the current diet (apart from MartinFest week and Christmas) to reach new goals.

Thanks, Rhys (and everybody who participated) for the encouragement and motivation. Very worthwhile!

Hey guys, it's been fun...misery loves company and all...I plan to continue to eat sparsely through the week...and maybe throw a bit of caution to the wind at Nazfest.

My goal has been to get my weight low enough that I can pig out once in awhile...but strangely, I don't feel like pigging out anymore. However, there are a few high calorie foods I haven't tasted since 2008...like ice cream...and ....is bourbon a food??...but I really notice the difference getting up hills on my bike. If I had to carry an extra 30 lbs to remember what it felt like...I'd be even appreciative.

. I've taken my family to buffets a few times...and I no longer get my money's worth...

Best wishes to all the teams, and congratulations for making an effort to improve your health to everyone...maybe we added a few more years to play our Martins.

Congratulations Laura! Can't wait to see you (but then again, that is always the case, this time of year!) You (and Jay, and Ron, and others) are my HERO! I am very disappointed in my performance--a measely 7 (?) pounds. Heck, I should be able to lose that by skipping a darn meal!
