Many luthiers even recommend to leave a clean gap between brace and bridgeplate.Is this good ?
On the other hand, it seems there are some bridgeplates that are tucked beneath the cross braces which are notched for this purpose. ¿¿??
Anyone can throw any light or comment on this?
I guess that the sound transmision could be better if glued, but easy to unstick with vibrations or humidity changes...
What are the Martin current way of doing?
