Let's focus on May 3 or 17th.  Please let me know which works best.   Also if anyone knows how to contact Rand or Kevin Rollins it would be great to see them there too.

Does anyone want to get back together this year at Clifty Falls?  I will foot the expenses but would want more than 3 people to come.  Can we make something happen this summer?  Scott

Re: What to do? (reply)
Unfortunately I bought the D-28 used, so no warranty.  The guitar is well used by both me and the previous owner but I have no sentimental attachment to this particular instrument.  Maybe I will take it to another luthier for a 2nd...

Being realistic, the guitar is worth $1100 in good repair. If I put $800 into it the value is still $1100.

I am from Columbus (reply)
Columbus Ohio.  The guitar has a Fishman Matrix pickup and sounds bad plugged in.  If I sell the guitar in the current state is not worth much $$.  I am thinking I should just cut my losses and move on.Scott

I am looking at $800 of work.  The guitar is a great sounding guitar unplugged, but it is pretty much worthless with the repairs it needs.
