Re: Two Martins - A 1949 Tiple and an OM-18GE (reply)
The tiple got a neck reset, fretboard plane and refret, and a new saddle, but the saddle is straight across so the intonation is, um, sketchy (grin). If the thing had any sustain it would probably be a real problem (grin). Led is having...

This is not an arrangement of my own, it's Chet Atkins one, but I'll record some of my own certainly soon, here's Mr Bojangles, arranged by Chet [url]

Two Martins - A 1949 Tiple and an OM-18GE (topic)
I got my tiple restored with a neck reset, new frets, and a new saddle, and Ledward Kaapana is having a lot of fun with it. We tuned it up to D6 so it works very nicely with a taropatch tuned slack key guitar. I pulled a couple of clips...

new recording - A Night In Tbilisi (topic)
Hi guys, here's my latest tune Woody Mann's A Night In Tbilisi.  A little jazz which is something new for me.  Also it's not the world's greatest rendition so please don't nail me to the wall on this one.  I find recording stressful.ABABA...

Re: Fingerstyle composition (reply)
You are a very nice player. I like the way you favor the RH thumb when you arpeggiate, bass to treble. In this tune, the arpeggiation itself is the dominant motif, as opposed to the alternating-bass pattern in the other tune. Not a lot...

I love this song. First one I learned to play because I just wanted to be able to hear when I wanted. Nick did a great job on it and it does my heart good to see a young fella carrying-on JH's offerings to us. His music should live...
