(07/03/09 10:34 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Hi does anyone out there know much about a Special Edition Fender Banjo namely a ( Leo ) this Banjo is really nicely made and seem's to weigh as much as a Gibson Master-tone it has chrome instead of nickle finish looks alot like a Master-tone very nice appointments excellent Finnish and maple wood etc. Can someone tell me about this banjo it is in mint condition also what did they cost new and what is present value??? Thanks in advance for your help!! Are Anything you know about this Banjo, Also it sounds great ( Full Solid Tone )

They are about on the same level as the top end Iida and Washburn banjos from the same factory (also made Alvarez and dozens of other brands). The Leo is a decent quality "masterclone" and are sought after by those looking for a certain level of quality at a bargaiin price. Prices range from $500 to around $800 - top dollar for these. Once you hit the $800 range, there are other, better imports available. Those with more than $800 to spend are looking at Gold Star and Recording King, superb banjos from China designed by Greg Rich.
