Yep, thats a beauty. I owned one at one time and it was one of my favorite guitars. I replaced it with an HD-18JB which is my favorite guitar and virtually the
same specs (bracing and woods) as the D-18V. Not much can beat a good mahogany Martin dread. One suggestion is to replace those cheap plastic bridge pin that
come with it. I replaced mine with the Martin ebony/abalone pins and it made a slight difference in the tone.

I had one and it was a wonderful guitar. I traded it for a D-18GE. Frankly I liked them both about the same. The D-18GE took longer to warm up to. The 18V took
me by storm. Congrulations.
