It's a nice custom Martin that I've played a whole lot and dings don't really bother me. But I am concerned about keeping it from getting worse, particularly because I think it's through some of the finish. It is about 1/16" long (measured with the ruler that did the deed), but really it is one really low depression with an angular lead in if that makes sense.
Is there something that I put in or rub into this minute hole to move the finish around a bit, add some or protect it? I am not all that handy but I don't mind rubbing in something clear to protect it, add to finish or move it around a little if this makes sense.
Thanks in advance for any pointers.
