very cool, thanks.....seems like a current day Woodstock with less mud.
All things retro, Martin guitars, Rivendell bicycles, Converse Chuck Taylors.

Glstonbury is a great place. Been there numerous times but never with a crowd. Walked the Tor mound.
I'm a bit sorry to see all that impact on such a gorgeous place but they need to make a living, I guess. These pics show why I avoided Woodstock. |

Looks like it might have been a good time. Crowded, but fun. Good music and an interesting time. Any place that has Spinal Tap can't be all bad.
Woodstock was a good time, as well. crowds and all. Some years later I had the opportunity to sing back-up for Melanie (who sang at Woodstock). We were the only two at the venue who were at the festival originally. Go figure. The four days that I was there provided some excellent memories to be sure. |

I've never been to a festival like this. I've heard Boonaroo in TN is also huge-is that similar?
Overall it looked like they did a good job keeping it clean, the recycling was a nice touch.

Very cool series, thanks for sharing. Although it does tend to point up how old I (and also the old rockers) really am.

Great photos! Thanks for posting.
Interesting how the photogs focused mainly on cute girls with a few token shots of guys coated in mud. As someone who has been to some of these festivals, I can totally understand. And, sheesh, it looks like Tom Jones is finally starting to show his age a bit.
