Like last year, we will be on a very tight schedule, requiring selected performers to be ready and able to start and finish within the allotted time. Last year we had some weather issues, a few no-shows, and other changes but it all worked out thanks to our outstanding moderator MCs. Humidity does affect guitar tuning, so we ask that everyone do their best to make sure they are completely in tune before starting.
As indicated elsewhere, we will give priority preference to those who have volunteered to work on the setup and breakdown crews, as well as those who have offered service as Guitar Guards. We may also give some preference to those that have not yet had an opportunity to play at this venue. Our primary objective will be to put on the best show possible, a solid afternoon of outstanding musical performances.
This year there will be a two vendors serving beer and wine. The moderators and I do request that performers do their best to refrain from indulging until after their performance is finished. Unlike the Park Pavillion or the Comfort Inn where it is "just us", this is a public venue. Let's all use common sense. Since not everyone can play in the earlier slots, this may result in a "dry" day for some, but please take that under consideration before volunteering.
Thanks for letting us know if you would like to perform!
