I'll chime in and add my appreciation for this thread too. We're fortunate to have Willi as contributing member of this forum, generous with his

I don't know how many towns and cities you have seen in Southern Germany, but Tuebingen is not the nicest. It is a nice one, but not the nicest. Maybe
for new acoustic steel string guitars it is the nicest. |

@00045: You are right. Living in this neck of the woods I wonder why noone mentioned Goldscheuer. But, as you say, in my hometown are no guitars for sale - I
stick to both, the B&H L-00 and my Martin guitar. So everybody better move on to Tuebingen: They got the better coffee, too.
@Willi, Rudie: Thanks for the videos uploaded - it was great fun to see and hear you. Frank forum intro p.54 or somewhere nearby. [Guild F30 * C.F. Martin 0-16NY * Steward parlor ~ 1880 * 000.28RC] |

One month and counting! Can't wait to get there in person.
I LOVE that video of the D-18 coming to life. They have such a vintage sound from the start. That should go for proof that the old ones sounded great from the start. I'm just wondering if my half-baked Neil Young stylings will find a happy home in bluegrass-heavy Tuebingen? "Tell Me Why" ? "Old Man"? "Cripple Creek Ferry"? Anyone? ; ) Brian |

Great movies, great picking, great guitars! I hope to get the chance to go to Tübingen sometime. It is not so far from Austria, and I visit Stuttgart from time
to time for business.
The sound of the B&H guitars is amazing, really amazing. Also in comparison to the old ones, the brand new B&Hs sound fantastic! Heimo |

Great pictures, Christian.
Not only do they show details. They show the eye for detail. The eye of the photographer. And particularly the eye of the builders. Henk |
