I heard there was auto-eroticism involved...an accident, not a suicide.

I find it very hard to believe he did it on purpose. I mean he had everything to live for.

Unfortunate details of how he was found. Sorry to hear of his passing; hope he's remembered for his work, not how he went.

The following (about a film panel Carradine was part of recently) makes for an entertaining/interesting read:

Some bad things already out in the news, I really feel for his family, some things really need to be left alone.

On the contrary, perhaps just as the death of Karen Carpenter brought mainstream awareness to eating disorders which no one talked about up to that point,
perhaps the unfortunate death of DC will highlight the dangers associated with SMBD.
No less sympathies to what the family is going through.

Shame. I was a Kung Fu fan too. The archetype of cool. He seemed like a good man.

I look at overall lives of the deceased as resting on a sort of teeter-totter. IMHO, Carradine did WAY more good than harm. I also think the still-living David
Crosby (touched in a nearby thread here) will balance that way. Both were (and are) subject to the foibles and conditions of human nature, temptation, bad
luck, or whatever you want to call it without stepping over forum guidelines.
What I will never understand is why reporters, gossips, and chaos-mongers cite bullpoop like "right to know" and "full disclosure" in relation to so many subjects and actions which are better left private to the individual.
