(Note - Added closeup pictures of the saddle height and action measurement at the 12th fret - also, forgot to mention, Paypal is fine - also please feel free to check out my 100% positive feedback on Ebay as I have sold a few guitars... eBay ID is webman007hobbit) Guitar and Case are in Excellent +++ condition (Really Mint - no issues - but it is a 2004). List price is $3600, street price new is $2700. The only changes Larrivee made between 2004 and now is they changed the soundhole rosette from mother of pearl to herringbone (I like the MOP better) and they made the neck wider (1 3/4") vs. this one which is a 1 11/16" which is a little easier to play. I keep it humidified in the case and it has the original case keys, Larrivee leather strap and truss rod wrench it came with. The only modifications / improvements are a Bob Collosi bone saddle and a Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup (volume and tone are hidden in the soundhole so you cant see them). This guitar is kind of like a cross between a Martin and a Taylor. It has the vintage appointments of a Martin OM-28V like open gear butter bean tuners, diamond carved volute on the back of the headstock, diamond neck inlays, and herringbone trim. But at the same time it has a more modern Taylor look, feel and sound in that it has flamed maple body molding on front and back, ivoroid neck binding, mother of pearl on the rosette and the playing action is lower and faster like a Taylor (this one is very low and easy to play with no buzzing anywhere). It is also voiced (to my ear) a bit brighter and more "liquid" than an OM-28V with more ringing overtones and not quite as dark and woody. That said it is a 2004 and I have played it so there are swirls on the pickguard and a spot or two if you put it under a microscope but nothing that will show up in pictures - even in the closeups I have posted. I am pretty picky and have sold a lot of guitars so I am very careful about how I characterize things (makes for a happy transaction...). I just sold a OM-28V on the forum which I listed as "mint / unplayed" as that one had no play time on it at all. This one has been played but is in better shape than most (if not all) guitars hanging on the wall at the Guitar Center. Hope that helps. (06/01/09 7:02 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I can't believe that Larrivee would ship a $3600 guitar with Tusk - but the did (some of the top pictures actually show the Tusk befor I replaced it). There is a reason Bone is the standard for high end guitars... The sound improvement was immediate. More volume, sustain, and clarity. I was going to go for FSWI but Bob Collosi talked me out of it as I was worried about it being to harsh with too many overtones for this guitar. He was right - this sounds great and was more than worth the small investment in saddle and setup. - Eric
