After a recent damaged delivery my fingers and toes are crossed...........
Here's the box..............good, looks undamaged

Aha, a fine packing job, filled with bubblewrap and peanuts

A new old stock Martin OM-45 Tasmanian Blackwood, number 23 of only 29 even made. Matin 30's style torch headstock over Tasmanian.

Flamed Englemann top, it looks 3-D in person, almost like ocean waves

Tasmanian back and sides. Martin 45 series have Abalone purfling top and back and around neck

45 style rosette

Another failed attempt to catch this beautiful flamed top........

Flamed Tasmanian Blackwood back, she's "purdy"

Hand carved Gold Waverly Butterbean tuners, kind of "fancypants" but they fit this guitar

30's style torch headstock, not the best shot, it's on fire live

So, as is my custom a "count your blessings/keep perspective" check will get cut to the Red Cross, and a sincere thanks to the seller (UMGF member)
for finding and giving me a new guitar for the same price as the used one that was damaged.
Sound? It's too soon for an honest detailed opinion, but it's surprisingly loud and sustains longer than any other Martin I have, one bluegrass G and I was smiling, pretty sure it will be a tone monster!
A mega happy ending to what was a shipping disaster, Martin will repair the damaged guitar to "as new" and ship back to the owner, and I got more than I expected. I am the opening act of a brand new venue tonight, and the first music ever played there will be the OM-45TB mic'd, no electronics......thanks for suffering through this long post, a great weekend to all!!
