From the Cordoba website "Córdoba Cadete is a 3/4 size guitar with a solid red cedar top and a 5 fan bracing system. The back and sides are made from African mahogany (laminate) and the fingerboard is rosewood. The Cadete is handmade, and includes several detailed refinements including a rosewood binding, bridge, headstock veneer, and heel cap. This is great guitar for children and beginners, or anyone looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and easy playing instrument." It makes a great travel guitar with a pleasing tone and bass more like a full size classical guitar. The condition is excellent, plus I upgraded the tuners (Grover retail around $40) which are very smooth and tune easily. The nut is narrower than standard classical guitars and feels about the same as my 1-3/4" Martin. It has a thick coat of finish so it is fairly bullet proof for child's use, travel, campfire, beach or couch playing, yet the sound is pretty good for a small guitar. Easy on the hands,gives a different sound. Consider this one-it looks great and believe me that fan bracing gives it a really even tone both lows and highs. Jan

Anyone looking for something at all similar could do far, far worse. It ain't a Thomas Humphrey, but it's a whole lot of fun. -Bob
