Leaving 12er behind |

I'm leaving tomorrow for D. C. for my daughter's graduation, and I'll be leaving my 12er at home (Seagull S12+). I'll be gone a week. In
storing the guitar should I just leave it as is or lossen the strings?

I would leave it tuned - releasing the tension and reapplying it can't be good for a guitar.

I had similar thoughts. It's not like I'll be gone for months, and the git will be in a cool dry place.

Almost everytime I loosen stings and retighten them to concert pitch I break one. Ususally it is the octave G. I'd leave it alone. It is no worse sitting
in a case for a week then it normally would be sitting in a case for a week.
