who's familiar with these little guy's ? ((OK PLEASE MOVE TO 4-STRING FARMHOUSE,THANKS))
hello folks, picked up my first vintage ukulele, its VERY COOLcute/lite/fragile !! appears to be in great condition i believe, in my research i determine it could be(?) 1922-1927 soprano style 0 martin ukulele, again appears great shape only a few very minor hairline cracks on the back(which i intend to have mended up/glued / cleated? not sure as it seems very thin wood and so maybe very thin cleats?) beside that ,its GREAT. not sure how desirable they are? but worth the couple hundred bucks !!! BUT plan to string it up and play/learn !! not sure how to even string it up? guessing some good aquila strings might be available for such a critter. so your thoughts /opinions/advice is appreciated !!!!
ps; oh, well i like aquila nylgut strings that Mr. D Laplante suggested for my 1893 2 1/2-17 ,so any suggestions on aquila nylgut for this little baby??
THANKS AGAIN BOB
