Hey guys, thanks for all the interest. Looks like I may have a buyer. If it falls out I will post here. As for the questions, no cracks, medium style action.
No buzz easy to frett. Typical Kimsey work (this is my 2nd full Kimsey guitar, the other was a 74 D-28. Yes Bryan does fantastic work.In case anyone is
wondering, I have a Hoss of an Addy topped LSV. It really os all those LSV's are cracked up to be. I was loving having a D-18 done up by Kimsey but a CA
Vintage performer fell in my lap at a great price and I need a maintenance free CA that I can chuck in my car and never worry about it and I can pick at lunch.
Finding good picking time is a premium. As long as I have the LSV I can sacrifice the 18. If I didnt have it I'd keep the 18 for sure. Plus I am used to
the 1 3/4 neck of the LSV and the new CA's are 1 3/4".
Thanks again.

I had Bryon do the same job with mine including neck reset, mine's a little older than yours but the aged look of yours is very similar (very nice). As
far as mine goes, the bass is a match for a D18GE however the mid and trebble are quite a bit brighter than the GE, overall well balanced. To me it has kept
the basic voice of a good D18 with more whomp and shimmer than 95% of D18s you will play. The braces are not forward shifted as in the GE which contributes to
a brighter mid also. A point to add is that Bryon will take the guitar back for a little more scalloping after a year or so, and I've given that some
thought but so far not wanting to mess with success, FWIW, Kerry
ps: mthacher61, you might have a future in guitar photography, excellent!
