			<description><![CDATA[ Found this advertised in my local paper as a 50&#39;s one owner cutaway Gibson. Hmm . .  The owners son said his dad had bought it new and had since passed
away and the wife couldn&#39;t bear to see it in the house anymore. Apparently the seller had taken the guitar to our local music shop and they didn&#39;t know
exactly what it was, telling him it was probably something from the 30&#39;s.  I went to look at it immediately, if not sooner, and knew exactly what it was.

shape to my eyes.  I realize not all old parlors are Larson built.  I did see a guitar identical to the larger one on ebay with a paper Stahl label.  I know
several makers built Stahls.  I bought the small twin a few years back on ebay.  They were made in the same place they are just different sizes.  The larger

all&#39; tuners.  But what throws me is the riveted or pressed on gears ala wartime tuners, rather than the expected screwed on gear.  I have an old Washburn
from 1909 with riveted tuners but they&#39;re a bit different than these.  Since OS made the same basic guitar over three decades, dating the tuners would help

Seller with 17 transactions, none for significant $$, and no current feedback. And why would a guitar of this rarity and in this condition be listed for only
24 hours??

			<title><![CDATA[ 00-18G ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Anybody out there have any knowledge of variations on the 00-18 G? I just bought one with a 1 7/8&quot; nut, a pyramid pin bridge and instead of fan bracing,
it&#39;s X braced and scalloped! It has some minor cosmetic issues but is fundamentally sound. The bridge plate looks original and the pin bridge is period
correct and appears not to have been stuck over the scar of a tie bridge. Quick check with Martin didn&#39;t reveal any X braced G models...fan bracing being
standard on G&#39;s as... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Just arrived from Bryan Kimsey a few days ago, my birth-year 1976 HD-28.  Bryan set the neck, repositioned the bridge a hair, installed a bone nut&amp;saddle,
ivoroid Waverlys, removed the popsicle brace, fixed the pickguard crack, gave it some humidity and installed the beautiful 30&#39;s swirl pickguard that you
see.  Could NOT be happier with the work.   It sounds loud, woody, and agressive.  I&#39;m delighted!
