I know it's a long shot, but I have just joined this forum and thought I would try and get the word out. On March 22, 1981 in Tulsa, OK., I had my 1971
Martin D-45 stolen. The thieves broke the door down on my home and stole the guitar along with about 15,000.00 of sound gear. The sound gear I got over. Not so
easy with the D-45. The guitar and I traveled together for over 10 years throughout the US, Canada and several countries overseas. I can prove ownership as I
have the police report...

Anybody Know How to Alert Ebay about Stolen Guitars?????

Hello I'm trying to reunite an lost/stolen and abandoned Martin with its rightful owner.

While riding my bike this past weekend I noticed a guitar case half obscured in the bushes down an embankment off of the side of the road. I stopped to check
and discovered that it was a very nice Martin guitar.

If you have lost a Martin recently send me a detailed description and with any luck you'll have it back in no time.

Had several Mossman acoustics stolen a couple of years ago around Christmas time. I sure do miss them. Among them stolen was a 1976 Great Plains (#76-4076)
with a Fishman pickup installed, another 1976 Great plains (don't have serial number) almost mint condition with a ding towards the rear bout of the
guitar. The case shut on it at one time and the latch caught it. The back of the guitar was light rosewood and headstock was light rosewood. And last.....a

This is a total long shot. I took my Meteor to a guitar repair shop in Morristown, NJ in 1972 for a cracked headstock repair. I went back three months later
and the shop was now a dry cleaner's. This was a 2 pickup single cutaway thinline that I received for Xmas in 1963 (?). The pickups were De Armond
"mustache" single coils, I had stripped the original Sunburst finish and refinished it blond (with poly eurothane! I was 19). This guitar has haunted
me for 40+ years. I still...

Sorry for double posting, but this is the forum that is read the most.

Two week ago I shipped two guitars COD to Long Beach, CA to a man identifying himself as Jonathan Silk (likely not his real name). Payment was made by Bank of
America cashiers checks. It took UPS almost two weeks to get the checks to me, and another week for the bank to mail a notice to me they they had bounced.
Then after getting handed around to three people at the bank, someone was finally able to tell me...

I hate having to come here but it's confirmed. I arrived home this evening after finding out yesterday evening my house was broken into. My S6 is gone.
Along with some fishing rods and reels. It's a 99 S6 and perfectly broken in for me.

I hope the little bastard impales himself on it.

I'll amend this post when I find the serial number.

My 1939 Martin 0-17 all mahogany guitar was stolen from a car in NE Portland on Friday Oct 10th.

Also my John Sullivan F-5 Mandolin (#79) was stolen too.

These are my Work Horses, My Life.
